Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of Heading 107 (heading107.com), run by Lussier Services LLC, a Massachusetts company ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

1. What Heading 107 is

Heading 107 is an independent study resource for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot knowledge test. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.

2. Study material only

• The content is for education and test preparation. It is not legal advice, and it does not authorize any flight.
• We work hard to keep the material accurate and current, but regulations change. Before every flight, check current FAA regulations, NOTAMs, TFRs and airspace using official FAA sources.
• We don't guarantee that you will pass the knowledge test.
• You are responsible for flying safely and legally.

3. Your account

• You must give accurate information and be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• Accounts are for one person. Don't share your login or let others use your purchased access.

4. Purchases and refunds

• The Part 107 study tool is a one-time purchase that gives the account that bought it access for as long as Heading 107 offers the product. Prices are shown at checkout in U.S. dollars.
• Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms.
• Refunds: if you're not satisfied, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Access is removed when the refund is issued.

5. Using the content

• Our questions, explanations, design and branding are owned by Lussier Services LLC. You may use them for your own personal study.
• You may not copy, resell, republish, scrape or share the question bank or paid content.
• FAA figures and regulation text included on the site are U.S. government works in the public domain.

6. Community features

If we offer forums, comments or other community features, be respectful and lawful. Don't post spam, harassment, others' private information, or advice that encourages unsafe or illegal flying. We may remove content or accounts that break these rules.

7. Ending your account

You can ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, for example by sharing paid access. If we close an account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we'll refund any purchase made in the previous 14 days.

8. Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lussier Services LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including any flight operation. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
