Privacy Policy

Heading 107 (heading107.com) is run by Lussier Services LLC, a Massachusetts company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored by our login provider in hashed form. We never see or store your password in readable form.
- Study data: your progress, quiz answers and scores, and the date you enter for your last knowledge test or recurrent training.
- Email preferences: whether you've opted in to rule-change notes, study tips and recurrent training reminders.
- Purchases: what you bought, when, and the payment reference. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Technical data: basic information your browser sends to any website, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested. Our hosting provider may keep this in server logs.
How we use it
- To create and run your account, save your progress, and give you access to what you've purchased.
- To send account emails: sign-up confirmation, password resets, and purchase receipts.
- To send rule-change notes, study tips and recurrent training reminders, only if you opt in. Every one of these emails has an unsubscribe link, and you can change the setting on your account page.
- To keep the site secure, fix problems, and improve the study material.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use third-party advertising trackers.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the site, each of which handles data on our behalf:
- Supabase: accounts and database.
- Netlify: website hosting.
- Resend (or a similar email provider): sending email.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Google Fonts: the site's typefaces load from Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
We may also share information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies and browser storage
The site stores a sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in. We don't use advertising cookies. If you clear your browser storage, you'll just need to sign in again.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete your profile and study data within 30 days, except for purchase records we're required to keep for tax and accounting.
Your choices
- View and update your name and email preferences on your account page.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing hello@heading107.com.
Children
Heading 107 is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and database rules that limit each account to its own data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. For significant changes we'll also notify account holders by email.
